This program will train the student in the precision machining and prepare them for entry-level employment. During this three-month training program, the student will learn to operate engine lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws, precision grinders, and computer numerical control (CNC) equipment. Additional course work in metallurgy, heat treating, sharpening, using hand tools, precision measuring, and blueprint reading provide vital aspects to the individual's education.
